Why we built it
Switching to Linux shouldn't mean relearning how to manage windows. ParchaOS starts from Fedora's solid base and adds the desktop conventions people already know.
What we built
A real dock
Pinned and running apps in one dock at the bottom of the screen.
Global menu bar
The active app's menus live in a bar at the top of the screen.
Familiar window controls
Close, minimize and maximize buttons where people expect them.
An honest roadmap
The website reads the distribution's real package list, so features and roadmap items update as they ship.
